#GC – HR Exams
Last week was a bit of a write-off for me.
Tuesday I spent the more significant part of the day working on an exam for a position similar to my current job. It was challenging because the instructions were vague, but the response was specific. Took Wednesday and Thursday off and didn’t return to work until Friday.
#GC – Mapping the #OneGC
After some extended conversations with DE colleagues Jason, Derek and some research on the GOV.UK enterprise workflow I’m on the design hunt for ideas for the #OneGC infographic we are collectively working on. Mirroring the GOV.UK is realistic because the structure of government is similar. DRAFT to be produced in the next few days as I attempt to capture the architectural structure.
#GC – This Week’s Goals
- Get a working version of the #OneGC infographic we were discussing on Friday.
- O365 testing with colleagues on the partnership team.
- Finalize our DigiEnablement Social for Wednesday.
- Promote #OneTeamGov Lunch at the National Arts Centre on Thursday. Meeting with the greater #OneTeamGov team on Tuesday.
- #LeadersGC lunchtime kiosk at 90 Elgin on Wednesday (TBC), come to 90 and drop in. Will update Twitter when confirmed.

#Personal – Matamy Homes The Ride for The Ottawa Hospital – Raised $1.07 million dollars.
I had a great time supporting The Ottawa Hospital annual charity The Ride. Yesterday we raised $1.07 million dollars. Main hosts, Patricia and Graham also attended from CTV. It was wonderful afternoon filled with music, food and good people.
#Personal – This week’s other Goals
- Host the GOFOBO advance screening of The Goldfinch tonight at Scotiabank Theatre Ottawa tonight at 7 pm.
- Host/MC the exclusive Porsche 9/11 release on this Thursday.
- Finish the visuals this weekend for the upcoming event in Atlanta next week.
